ABLI is heartened to see its projects fit into the vision to nurture the next generation of law students and lawyers outlined in the Response by the Chief Justice to mark the opening of the legal year 2020.

Here is a look at ABLI’s highlights in the past 12 months.

The ASEAN Law Association has published The ASEAN Law Conference 2018 – A Compendium of Speeches, Papers, Presentations and Reports.

ABLI is cited as an example of how judges can develop relationships with overseas peers, learn from overseas experience and develop an appreciation of courts with which they may have to cooperate.

The Secretariat meets with the former Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia.

ABLI presents to French corporate heads, their in-house and external counsel at the French Embassy in Singapore.

ABLI’s Dr Clarisse Girot speaks at a workshop held by Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade and the World Bank in Hanoi.

ABLI was mentioned in Chief Justice Menon’s Reply at the Opening of the Legal Year 2019 at the Supreme Court of Singapore.
