ABLI invited to the 22nd Diplomatic Session of the Hague Conference on Private International Law

On 1 April 2019, ABLI was invited to participate as an Observer at the Twenty-Second Diplomatic Session of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH). The Diplomatic Session will be held from 18 June to 2 July 2019 in the Hague Academy of International Law on the grounds of the Peace Palace in The Hague.

The Diplomatic Session has been convened to finalize negotiations on, and to adopt, the 2019 HCCH Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters.

The work by the HCCH on the Convention is relevant to ABLI’s Asian Principles for the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments project.
