Release of Chinese version of Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency in Asia

We are delighted to share that the Chinese version of ABLI’s publication Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency in Asia, jointly published with the International Insolvency Institute (III), has now been released by China’s leading legal publisher, Law Press China (法律出版社), and is available at platforms such as here.

The Chinese version continues to cover the 16 APAC jurisdictions discussed in the English version.

ABLI is grateful to a team of judicial officers based in Shenzhen, China who volunteered to complete the translation in their personal capacity without which the publication would not have been made possible. The Chinese version has also included some major updates that have taken place since the release of the English version in April 2020.

Shenzhen is home to China’s first specialized bankruptcy court. It is also where the country first piloted personal bankruptcy and explored cross-border insolvency practices.

Law Press China has published a more detailed introduction of the Chinese publication in Chinese here.

The English version continues to be available here. The publication is produced as part of ABLI’s project with III that studies the corporate restructuring landscape in Asia.
