Calling for response to survey on CBDC in Asia

Are you interested in the use of central bank digital currency (CBDC) in Asia and Australia? Do you want to make your voice heard and shape the future of CBDC in Asia and Australia?

ABLI is delighted to invite responses to a survey that examines commercial and legal perceptions of the implementation of CBDC and its implications for businesses. This survey, part of a larger research study, is developed by Professor Deborah Healey and Professor Heng Wang of the Herbert Smith Freehills China International Business and Economic Law Centre of the University of New South Wales, one of the first organizations in the world to address CBDC issues in an international context, with support from ABLI.

The survey should take 12-15 minutes to complete. Your responses will remain strictly confidential.

Those who are interested in receiving the findings of this cutting-edge study are welcome to email the project team (Professor Deborah Healey [email protected]) to get an invitation to the launch event in August and to receive a copy of the final report when it is available.

Take part in our pioneer survey now so that your insights can contribute to the development of policies and regulation, and to inform business, about CBDCs in the region.

Queries about the survey and the research in general may be directed to [email protected].
