This quantitative analysis is based on the List of China’s Cases on Recognition of Foreign Judgments” (List) that the China Justice Observer (CJO), a website sponsored by the Academy of Comprehensive Rule of Law at China University of Political Science and Law, has been maintaining since 16 July 2019, focusing specifically on applications to recognise and enforce foreign judgments in China identified on CJO’s List.

Dr Clarisse GIROT is a Senior Research Fellow at the Asian Business Law Institute.
