On 5 June 2018, Dr Clarisse Girot, lead of ABLI’s Data Privacy Project, presented the first lessons learnt from ABLI’s Data Privacy Project at the 2018 Annual Forum of the Research Alliance for Data Governance and Cyber Security (DGCS-Alliance) in Beijing.
The Forum was a unique opportunity to discuss the impact of GDPR in China, different approaches to data localization, free trade agreements, cross border data flows, individual rights and data sovereignty with high-level Chinese and international academics and practitioners.
