ABLI research projects are expected to be products of a public-private partnership, with academics and private practitioners working together in formulating solutions that could then be relayed to Judges and policy makers for validation and implementation.
Research projects should:
Promote the convergence of business laws in Asia;
Produce results which can be of practical utility to be used by legislative bodies, judiciaries, or other interested parties;
Be the product of collaborative work conducted by jurists across Asian jurisdictions; and
Have a pan-Asian perspective which takes due account of Asian’s various legal traditions.
